Competitive Bulletin's

We have Competitive Maps, Profiles and Updates out of the way, let's move on to Competitive Bulletin's.

Competitive Bulletin's are used to let our sales force, and other field facing personnel, get up-to-date on an event that has taken place.

Generally I find M&A tends to be the number one event requiring a bulletin. This way, we can quickly and easily let our sales force and others hear about the event, and briefly describe what potential impact it may have. Acquisitions often take time, and it could be months or even years until technologies are integrated. Sending out bulletins with key ammunition can really help sales set traps and position against the threat.

Any major announcement that sales may get asked about by a prospect, is worthy material for a bulletin.

Below is a screenshot of a template I've used:

Next week, I'll introduce a simple surveying process which we can use to ask sales what competitive information they require. The results of this will drive us into the competitive deliverables I've introduced over the last few weeks.

Interested in the template? Feel free to email me and I'd be happy to forward it along.
