Technical Debt

Johanna Rothman at Managing Product Development has defined a term that I had not heard before - "technical debt". Feature Driven Development (FDD)

With so many methodologies available, how do you choose which is best for you?

Personally, I think all of them have an equal chance to succeed. The keys to all of them are good communication (I know this is hard but you can do it!), the ability to read (thoroughly) and write (clearly). With these 3 qualities and a strong team, it almost does not matter which methodology you choose. With that said, I like where Feature Driven Development is heading.

Read Scott's post at Tyner Blain, he does a fantastic job of explaining FDD.

Enjoy!
